I actually think this is a solid 4.5. It's underrated on yelp, so I upped it. This pizza was super good! Vegetables were fresh, nicely cooked. The right amount of cheese. So many things done right. I ate two pieces before going out to deliver to the family. Because dayum: it smelled as good as it tasted. Bar service was friendly and efficient too.
First off, I was impressed with our server's attentiveness despite our choosing to sit outside at the tail end of the lunch specials period. I'm sure she had plenty of inside prep duties to attend to yet still managed to return to us multiple times during our visit. Outside, we got to sit next to a mural of various New York cultural iconography but was bemused by the presence of Batman and Superman in the mural despite every nerd worth their weight knowing neither hero is a New Yorker. Lol. My food was great. The beef and lamb gyro was loaded and tasty. My potato salad was subtle in its flavor but really good... and a hearty sized portion. Wife Unit liked her sub but thought she preferred another locations slightly better. Overall, it was a great first visit and we want to try a few more items from the menu to see if it becomes a regular spot for us.
If you're looking for a good place with excellent pizza, great drinks, and family type of vibe, this is it! Every time I've gone in, the vibes were always positive and the food is always a hit.
Pizza was cooked fresh, served hot and was good. Not my favorite but the best we've been able to find in this area so far. Order was for carry-out and was pretty quick service. No complaints. 1 medium supreme and 1 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese which came to roughly $43 tip not included.
